Hide and Go Seek is a blog from writer and student Chad Verity.
“It’s a place where I can come and post some thoughts about life, and what it means to be a follower of Christ. I hope it’s not to weird or wacky, just real and relevent, and somehow revolutionary. It stems from an insufficiency in our general church environment and culture to answer the “So what?” question to this whole Jesus thing. I hope to try and answer that question for myself in the things that I write about, and my prayer is that somehow it could help answer that same question for others as we journey together. No Christian easy answers, or cliches, I promise. This isn’t a blatent attempt at being post-modern or emergent, simply just saying, ‘I dont’ have a clue, so lets figure it out together.’ I call it an interactive blog because my deepest desire is that you’ll comment the entries for others to read, add to the discussion, and give me feedback on your journey. It’s called Hide and Go Seek, because in our journey towards deeper intimacy with Christ, it’s a beautiful picture of how God interacts with us on a daily basis-as a Father playing hide and go seek with His infant son. Don’t worry, He’s just on the other side of the coffee table, still in reach, just out of sight…for now. Please enjoy and take part. I hope Hide and Go Seek becomes part of your daily internet hang out. Take a few moments to think about and respond to some of the things that God is doing in my life, and showing me everyday as I continue to seek him. Don’t forget, the Prayer Wall page is always available if you’d like our friends and I to join with you in seeking the Father’s face and praying for whatever you need. Thank You. I truly think we can do it. God Bless (I thought I promised no Christian Cliches?).”
